Strengths Quotient Institute Pte Ltd (SQI, we, us) respects the privacy of people who visit this website or contact us.

What this website does

This website does not include an account system, newsletter, payment flow or embedded enquiry form. SQI does not add analytics, advertising cookies or marketing trackers to the site.

The site is hosted using GitHub Pages. GitHub states that when a Pages site is visited, technical information including the visitor's IP address may be logged and stored for security purposes. GitHub's own privacy terms apply to its processing as the hosting provider.

When you contact us

If you choose to contact SQI by email or WhatsApp, we may receive information such as:

  • your name and contact details;
  • the contents of your message;
  • information you choose to share about a programme, organisational relationship, speaking or facilitation enquiry;
  • related correspondence and administrative records.

We use this information to:

  • respond to the conversation you initiated;
  • discuss programme participation or fit;
  • explore an organisational, speaking or facilitation relationship;
  • manage follow-up actions connected to your enquiry;
  • protect our systems, people and legitimate interests;
  • comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

We do not add enquiry contacts to a newsletter, automated marketing sequence or broadcast list unless they separately agree to that use.

Please do not send confidential assessment records, participant information or sensitive personal data through an initial enquiry.

Programme sites and other services

The SQI website links to programme sites and services outside this page. Some may be operated by SQI or related parties, and others may be provided by third parties.

Programme applications and other destinations may use separate systems, service providers, privacy notices and terms. Please review the notice that applies at the destination before submitting information there.

Service providers and overseas processing

SQI currently uses:

  • GitHub Pages for website hosting;
  • Outlook.com for the public SQI mailbox;
  • WhatsApp Business for optional messaging;
  • administrative spreadsheet files for participant or application records;
  • linked programme sites and their application or delivery providers.

Some providers may process or store information outside Singapore. Where the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 applies, SQI will take reasonable steps required under the Act in relation to service-provider handling and overseas transfers.

SQI does not claim that every provider, backup or linked service processes data only in Singapore.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this notice, an ongoing relationship, or an applicable legal, accounting, security, dispute-resolution or other legitimate business requirement.

We review records and delete, anonymise or securely dispose of them when they are no longer required.

Your choices and requests

Subject to applicable law, you may contact us to:

  • ask how we handle your personal data;
  • request access to personal data in our possession or control;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • withdraw consent to a particular use of your personal data, with reasonable notice;
  • raise a privacy concern or complaint.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will explain any applicable limitation, likely consequence or legal exception where required.
